Setting Up A Nursing Station
When I first became a mother, I knew I wanted to exclusively nurse my child. I envisioned myself with the baby, snuggling and bonding while he nursed. But what I did not anticipate is how difficult it would be for him to even latch on. I figured it would come naturally and that it was instinct for them to be able to latch on and nurse. Yet, here I was four days postpartum and struggling to get the little guy to get enough milk (see blog for lactation cookies that work, here).
